I seriously can not wait for this book! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the Vampire Academy series and I was so sad to finish that whole series. However, when I found out Richelle Mead was making a spin off series with the Alchemist, Sydney (love her), I about did a freaking cart wheel in my tiny little room!

From what I know so far, Sydney who is a human but is also an Alchemist so she knows about the Vampire world, is going to be the main character in this series. It will not be set in the middle of no where in Montana like the previous books, but instead in the state of sunny California! Eddie Castile, Jill Mastrano, and the BELOVED Adrian Ivashkov, will all be in the series!! ADRIAN??? Yes! I felt so bad for him in Last Sacrifice so I'm super excited for him to be in the new series! I just felt like his journey just ended abruptly while Rose and all the other characters had a good final ending in the book!

I wonder what love matches will go on with these new set of characters?

I'm about to do a cart wheel again, I'm so freaking excited...ahhh...
