~GoodReads Synopsis

When I first saw this book, I just couldn't get over how the cover looked. On the Internet obviously you can't tell from a picture that when you actually hold it in your hands and look at it, you know it's going to be a good book. It's a looks a little expensive in packaging but this book's cover is probably one of the prettiest I've seen. There are a bunch of little details you wouldn't have seen if you were just looking at the image on the web. But prettiness aside, what did I think of this book?

The first few pages were enthralling, making my already extreme imagination go berserk! The story is captivating and nothing I have heard before! The setting, culture, and roots of this book are Indian and it is just so different and wonderful to read about! I liked the main character Kelsey because while she has that tidbit of teen angst that I can definitely relate with (ha!), she also has a very mature sensibility about the world and life in general. She's not one of those completely stereotypical, annoying brat of a teen that most books make out teens to be, so it's a refresher!

Ren, the lurrrvvve interest, is Indian, hence the whole "Indian Prince becoming cursed into being a tiger and then heroine Kelsey must find a way to reverse it" type thing. I love how this book also has different ethnic romance in it! It's so nice to see two people from different backgrounds come together. We need more racial diversity in literature because readers are from all sorts of backgrounds! Myself included! So I loved reading this book and seeing romance spark between Ren and Kelsey, two completely different people from different cultures and centuries.

This book is such a blast to read and it has humor, action, romance, and adventure! Tiger's Curse is the ultimate book and any sort of reader would love to read this! This book is one of a kind and definietly a good read!

I give it a 5 out of 5 CHEWS!

***This book is also covering the third book I read for the Once Upon a Time Reading challenge in the folklore and mythology department! :)***
